Garry Young is a political scientist at George Washington University
in Washington, D.C. Most of his research and teaching focuses on U.S.
political institutions, such as Congress and the Presidency. His work has
appeared in a variety of academic forums including the British
Journal of Political Science, Congress Reconsidered,
International Interactions, Journal
of Conflict Resolution, Journal of Theoretical
Politics, Legislative Studies Quarterly
, Political Research Quarterly, and
Politics and Policy. He received his Ph.D. from Rice University
in 1994.
